Academic mobility offers Nazarbayev University students the opportunity to study, conduct research, or participate in cultural exchanges at leading institutions worldwide. These programs are designed to broaden your global exposure, enrich your academic development, and expand your future professional prospects.Student Academic Exchange:- Duration: 1 to 2 semesters (up to 1 academic year).
- Structure: A credit-bearing study program at an established partner institution. Tuition, application, and registration fees are waived on a reciprocal basis, and earned credits transfer back to NU.
Study Abroad Program:- Duration: Up to 1 academic year.
- Structure: A credit-bearing program at a host institution on a non-reciprocal basis, with the option to transfer earned credits.
Customized Program:- Duration: Short-term, non-degree programs lasting up to 1 year.
- Structure: Flexible study options featuring credit-bearing coursework with the possibility of credit transfer to NU.
Cultural Mobility:- Duration: Short-term.
- Structure: International cultural visits (credit-bearing or non-credit-bearing) arranged on either a reciprocal or non-reciprocal basis.
Eligibility Criteria:- To participate in an academic mobility program, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Student Status: Must be a degree-seeking student at NU on track to complete degree requirements within 4 years.
Completed Study Time:- Undergraduate students: Completed at least 1 full academic year at NU.
- Graduate students: Completed at least 1 semester at NU.
Academic & Conduct Standing: Must maintain good academic standing with no active probation, conditional status, or disciplinary sanctions.Academic Performance: Minimum CGPA of 3.00 with no pending Incomplete ("I") grades.Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old at the time of application submission.
